Erbe is a new creative organisation which explores heritage and green spaces with communities in the Wyre Forest. We create opportunities for artists to respond to rich narratives drawn from local myth, history and biodiversity and engage audiences with natural and built environments in the region.

About Erbe

In 2022 Erbe will curate a programme of newly commissioned artworks, public workshops, talks, walks, digital content and publications which explore this corner of the rural West Midlands. The programme will focus on the fruitfulness of the Wyre Forest’s natural resources, connecting with the woodland as a means of investigating sustainability through a mixed programme of arts, heritage and wellbeing events.

Projects will take place across a number of locations including a tepee venue in the heart of the Wyre Forest, Ruskin Land and Bewdley Town Centre.

Erbe has received generous support from Arts Council England through the National Lottery Project Grants scheme, Severn Arts Partnership and The Guild of St George.

Erbe is produced and curated by Jenine McGaughran.
