Explore and Create your own Microscopic Creatures

Monday 31st July, 1 - 2.30pm

St George’s Hall, Bewdley

Families will be led on a short walk to explore biodiversity in their local park and collect materials and specimens to create their creepy crawly inspired artworks.

Holding the Waters of the Wyre

Saturday 29th July, 11- 3pm

Ruskin Studio, Uncllys Farm, Tanners Hill, Bewdley , DY12 2LR

Join Fred Hubble and Mark Essen for this hands-on workshop exploring the artists research into water scarcity, abundance, drought and flooding in the Wyre Forest. Participants will have the opportunity to make irrigation and immersion watering pots that can be used in practical and sustainable gardening.

Vessels made during this workshop will be fired in Birmingham and returned to participants.  

Vegetarian light refreshments will be available as part of the workshop.

Folklore inspired Potion Making, Nature Crowns and Wands

Monday 7th August, 1 - 2.30pm

St Georges Hall, Bewdley

Come and create a magic potion from unexpected seasonal ingredients and imagine the powers it might give you. No potion is complete without a crown and wand which children will also be able to make.
